2010 EDUCATIONAL
SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES/EXHIBITOR PROSPECTUS
Note: A company does not need
to exhibit in order to provide educational support.
The PCSA's mission is to advance the science and practice
of surgery. Education during the Annual Meeting help
the members gain knowledge of the current medical and
scientific issues.
The Scientific Program of the 81st Annual PCSA Meeting
has been planned and implemented in accordance with
the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medication Education through
the joint sponsorship of the American College of Surgeons
and the Pacific Coast Surgical Association.
Platinum Supporter - $15,000
This is an educational grant to support the Scientific
Program of the 81st Annual Pacific Coast Surgical Association.
- Recognition from the podium, through event signage,
in the Scientific Program Book and in the Spring Newsletter.*
- Acknowledged as a Platinum Level Supporter in Final
Program
- Logo and link on the PCSA website
- Acknowledged as a supporter of PCSA President’s
Forum
Gold Supporter - $10,000
This is an educational grant to support the Scientific
Program of the 81st Annual Pacific Coast Surgical Association
- Recognition from the podium, through event signage,

- Acknowledged as a Gold Level Supporter in Final

EXHIBITOR PROSPECTUS
& APPLICATION
Mission and Purpose
PCSA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
established in 1925, to advance the science and practice
of surgery.
We hold an Annual Scientific Meeting every February
over President’s Day weekend to keep our member
surgeons up-to-date on the latest in medical research
and clinical practice. High quality presentations cover
general and specialty surgery and AMA PRA Category 1
Credit™ is offered. At the 2009 Annual Meeting,
16 Continuing Medical Education credits were offered
to attendees. Most of our presentations are published
each year in the Archives of Surgery that reaches 22,500
readers in 85 countries each month.
Members/Attendees
Our Association’s members are community and
academic surgeons who reside in the Pacific Coast area.
Members come from one of four Caucuses: Southern California,
Northern California, Oregon/Hawaii, and Washington/British
Columbia/Alaska.
Total attendance at the 2009 PCSA Annual Meeting was
315 with 205 surgeons.
Exhibits
The exhibit area at the PCSA Annual Meeting is an
integral part of the meeting. This is where our attendees
have the opportunity to learn about your products or
services. The continental breakfasts and refreshment
breaks will also be in the exhibit area to maximize
your exposure! By participating in the Industry Support
Luncheon on Sunday you will have the opportunity to
interact with the PCSA leadership and members.
